Job Description
The company is recruiting a Solutions Manager to support existing and expected growth across the UK. Reporting to the European Solutions Team Leader and working alongside the companies sales team, this position will identify and support sales opportunities and existing deployments with our channel partners and their end-clients. The main focus of the role is pre-sales technical support. You will also be responsible for the implementation of customer installations as a contracted specialist, supporting our channel partners. In some instance you may be required to handle post-sales support.
Main duties include:• Support the company's sales team to help specify products for new customers, reply to tenders, and carry out web-based and on-site demonstrations and training.
• Provide technical expertise and support for our products.
• Focusing on building relationships with the technical teams of our partners.
• Deliver product training to our partners and end users.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations and POC’s.
• Generate revenue by providing commissioning services.
• To deliver the above, travelling extensively within the Greater London area is essential along with travel to our regional office and also within the rest of the UK.
• Occasionally it may be necessary to assist the central support team and the customer to debug and troubleshoot any problems faced during the installation process.
The successful candidate will have:
• Strong technical knowledge of: IP networking solutions is essential and Digital AV technologies is desirable.
• Experience of: video over networks is desirable, digital video technologies and Audio-Visual equipment and video over networks is also highly desired and digital signage solutions
• Previous experience of working in a pre-sales/solutions consultant position, within the AV and/or IT industry.
• Evidence of an ability to create innovative technical solutions.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to build customer relationships and provide phenomenal customer service.
• Can show they are confident to stand up in front of an audience and present the company, a product, a solution or a technical demonstration.
• Outstanding problem solving skills.
• Excellent written/verbal/presentation communication skills.
• Must be able to show previous experience of ability to work independently and manage and prioritise own work-load.
• Patience, commitment and a desire to learn.
Previous experience of, and ability to work in, a dedicated working from home environment.
• Patience, commitment and a desire to learn.
• Valid driving licence and own car; and must be based within close proximity to Central London. A potential Solutions Manager should have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking or related field.
• Possess good references.
